There are several models that are recommended for golf carts. The model BLS-36A and BLS-48B are the most popular. These models come with a toggle switch to disable the BLS when cart will not be in use for over a week. The new BLS-36N and BLS-48N have a built-in low-voltage shut-off circuit in the unit. This will automatically shut off the BLS when the batteries reach a certain level of voltage. These models are designed for golf carts that aren't used frequently.
